MANY MEMBERS OF THIS FAMILY ARE WIDELY USED AS ANTICONVULSANT, ANTI-ANXIETY, ANTI-SEIZURES, ANALGESIC, SEDITATIVE, ANTIDEPRESSIVE AND HYPNOTIC OR ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AGENTS [1, 2].ALSO THE STUDIES ON THESTRUCTURE ACTIVITY RELATIONSHIP (SAR) OF BENZO DIAZEPINES HAVE SHOWN THAT EXISTENCE OF ELECTRON WITHDRAWING GROUP (EWG), SUCH AS NITRO (NO2) ON THE BENZENE RING AT THE BENZO DIAZEPINE DERIVATIVES CAN INCREASE THEIR EFFECTIVENESS.BECAUSE WE NEED BENZO DIAZEPINE DERIVATIVES FOR USING IN OUR FUTURE PLAN STUDY, WE PERFORMED A REACTION IN WHICH DIRECT NITRATION OF BENZO DIAZEPINE WAS DONE. DUE TO THE LOW YIELD OF THE SYNTHESIS OF BENZO DIAZEPINES BY O-PHENYLENE DIAMINES WITH ELECTRON WITH DRAWING GROUPS SUCH AS NITRO (NO2), AFTER SYNTHESIZING THE BENZO DIAZEPINES WE COULD GET NEW DERIVATIVES OF THEM BY NITRATION. AS A RESULT, WE REDUCED ONE OF THEM TO TURN INTO RELEVANT AMINO-BENZO DIAZEPINE [3].
